CIEL's Workshop on Promoting Public Interest Law Careers in India
From November 16-17, 2000, CIEL and the Centre for Environmental Education, Research and Advocacy (CEERA) at the National Law School of India University in Bangalore, hosted a workshop aimed at providing law students and law teachers with information on, and options in, public interest law careers in India. The workshop was well attended and, among other things, resulted in several law student internships at public interest environmental and human rights NGOs in India.
