Joston Benton

Staff Accountant

Dr. Joston Benton, CPA, PT, DPT, MS earned his bachelor degree in business and master’s of science in accounting at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX where he also played for the men’s basketball team. After completing his undergraduate degree, Joston completed his doctorate in physical therapy at the University of Delaware while also obtaining a Master’s in human anatomy and physiology.

Prior to obtaining his doctorate in physical therapy, Joston spent several years in public accounting with PwC where he gained extensive experience in forensic accounting, including but not limited to, fraud investigations and litigation support. He also has extensive experience in external audits for Fortune 500 and 100 companies, corporate restructures, and quality reviews.

Joston is currently practicing as a sports physical therapist in the state of Maryland that specializes in injury prevention, strength and conditioning, functional rehabilitation, and performance; assisting individuals of all ages return to activities and sports at all levels including recreational, high school, college and professional.

During his free time, Joston enjoys playing indoor and beach volleyball, hiking, weight training, longboarding, and working on small, medium, and start-up business ventures.
